About Our Products
What is tallow and why do you use it in skincare?
Our products are made with 100% grass-fed tallow, a nutrient-rich, natural fat that mirrors the skin’s own oils. It nourishes deeply and supports barrier repair and is perfect for dry, sensitive skin.
Does it have a scent?
Poorly rendered tallow can sometimes carry a strong, “beefy” scent. Because we’ve refined our traditional rendering process, our tallow has a much gentler, almost “buttery” aroma that quickly fades after application. Our scented whipped tallows only carry the scent of the oils/botanicals.
Is tallow safe for all skin types?
Tallow is generally gentle and works beautifully for dry, normal, and sensitive skin. Every skin is unique though, which is why we offer sample tins—so you can try before committing to a full-size jar.
How long does a jar last?
Just a pea-sized amount goes a long way. Most customers find that even with regular use, a single jar lasts for months.

Do your products contain essential oils?
Please see our product pages for individual ingredient lists. We keep our range simple so you can choose what’s best for your skin. While all our specialty balms like Blossom, Bushmans Balm & Healing Balm do not contain essential oils, we have a few options for our best selling Whipped Tallow Balms:

Vanilla - not technically an essential oil but we’ll pop it here as it’s scented with a vanilla oleoresin

Pure Tallow & Emu Oil (completely unscented, ideal for sensitive skin and babies)
Classic Unscented Tallow (no added scent, just buttery and mild).
Why offer unscented and herbal blended options?
Essential oils are beautiful but not for everyone. Some skin types (especially very sensitive, eczema-prone, or newborn skin) benefit from going without. That’s why we offer unscented alternatives, so the whole family has a safe, nourishing option.
Usage & Care
How do I use tallow products?
Apply a small amount to clean, slightly damp skin. Warm it between your fingers and massage in until absorbed. A little truly goes a long way.
How should I store my tallow products?
Keep in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. They’re shelf-stable so no refrigeration required. If they soften in warm weather, don’t worry, they’ll firm back up once cool.

When will my order ship?
Orders are processed and dispatched within 1–3 business days.
How long will delivery take?
Australia (Standard): 2–8 business days
Australia (Express): 1–4 business days (metro areas)
New Zealand: 5–12 business days, depending on customs and location
How do I track my order?
Once your parcel is on its way, you’ll receive an email with your Australia Post tracking link. You can also log in to your account on our website to check tracking details.
Returns & Exchanges
How do I request a return or exchange?
Email us at sarah@fullynourished.com.au within 14 days of purchase with your order number or confirmation.
Do you accept opened or used products?
No—items must be returned in their original condition and packaging. Opened or used skincare products cannot be refunded or exchanged, unless faulty.
What about incorrect, damaged, or faulty items?
Email us within 7 days of delivery with photos and your order number. We’ll arrange a replacement, exchange, or refund as appropriate.
Who pays for return shipping?
Return postage is at the customer’s expense unless the item is faulty or incorrect. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
